Many of us (ladies) are hesitant to begin to build muscle for fear of “bulking up” – this is NOT true! We don’t have enough testosterone in our bodies to bulk up the same way a male would. As long as you are within a healthy calorie range, you won’t build an extreme amount of muscle. You WILL, however, build muscle that will help you look toned, younger and smaller! I honestly LOVE Les Mills PUMP or Chalene Extreme for a program that focuses on lifting weights. I have seen great results from these programs and will now ALWAYS incorporate strength training into my workouts and you should too! 🙂
