Your WISHES WILL COME TRUE if you put thought, action and perseverance behind them.
How many of you have *wished* to lose those last 5, 10, 15 pounds?
How many of you have *wished* to be more successful and to make more money?
How many of you have *wished* that you felt more confident in the skin you’re in?
Stop *WISHING* and start *DOING*! Take a leap of faith, make a plan ~ you never know where it will lead you!
Plan + Persevere = **Wishes** Granted!
Someone once told me that your words are like toothpaste coming out of a tube, once they come out – it’s really hard to put them back in. 🙂 We need to be careful and purposeful when we speak to others, and more importantly, to ourselves. It’s really easy to look at ourselves everyday and see our flaws, highlight on the things that we don’t like and use negative self-talk. We should be our most loyal best friend, our own biggest fan and our biggest cheering section. Ask yourself, the next time a negative thought comes into your head about your own self, would you say these things to your daughter or son, to your best friend or to your spouse? Hopefully, the answer is “no”. If so, then why say those things to yourself? Why defeat yourself before even getting out of the gate? What you should be saying is how beautiful you are, inside and out; how you love your hair and how lucky you are to be exactly where you are – you are blessed! You will be amazed at how thinking and reciting positive thoughts about yourself, can impact your day and your life. You will begin to draw upon more positive things and attract more positivity as you fill your mind with positive thoughts, rather than negative. Your words have SO much power – why not use them for good? Give it a try, for one day – and see just how good you feel, how many blessings come your way and how the negative thoughts eventually won’t take root anymore! What we focus on expands, so don’t focus on your thighs! HA! No, seriously, focus on the good in you and you will begin reap many rewards!
I think many of you can relate to not feeling your “best” after having a baby and desperately wanting to get your pre-pregnancy body back!! After I had my daughter Gabriella, I did not feel comfortable with my body, how I felt and I didn’t fit into any of my clothes. I think I was expecting to be one of those mothers who “bounced right back” – and that definitely wasn’t the case! I took care of myself throughout the pregnancy, worked out and gained around 30 pounds, yet at only 5’1″, that’s not a small amount of weight. When all was said and done, I had about 20 pounds to lose and they were not budging!!! It was SO frustrating to be doing all that I could (or so I thought) with working out, watching my calorie intake and STILL NO MOVEMENT ON THE SCALE OR IN MY CLOTHES! I felt so frustrated and was so eager to just fit into my jeans again comfortably. After months of running back and forth to the gym, 5-6 days/week, most often for a 5:30 a.m. class, I decided that I need to try something different. I found Jillian Michaels workout DVD’s and really liked them, but I wasn’t sweating enough and was craving more of a challenge.That’s when I was lucky to find Beachbody! I loved going to the Les Mills classes at my local gym and was happy to see that Beachbody offered these DVD’s in order to be able to workout at home.
Being that I needed something different and out of my “comfort zone”. I was impressed with results I saw from people who had done TurboFire. So, I bought TurboFire and Chalene Extreme. I had read great reviews about Chalene Johnson and both of these programs, so I thought – what the heck, I’ll give them a shot! I’m SO glad that I did!! I FINALLY dropped the rest of my baby weight and MORE!! I was so happy and felt so good that I wanted to share with others that it IS possible to get your body back after having babies as long as you are focused, work hard and are committed to your goal. This is why I became a Beachbody coach. I am passionate about being physically fit and healthy and I love that you can see results and feel achievements from your hard work. I want to be a source of encouragement and inspiration to others when they are where I was – frustrated, discouraged and feeling like there was no light at the end of the tunnel. ANYTHING is possible!! You just need to be open to trying new things and WANT to change your life and yourself in order to become your BEST self!
